General Questions
How do I set up and use my digital room key in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
At the end of your online check-in, simply tap the “Add to Wallet” button to load your room key. The key will automatically activate once your check-in time has started and your room is ready. To unlock your room, just hold your mobile device or compatible smartwatch near the lock.
If you skip this step, you can still add or replace your digital key anytime through the Guest Portal homepage.
Which devices are supported?

Apple Wallet: iPhone 6S or later, or iPhone SE (2nd generation or newer), running the latest iOS. You may also use an Apple Watch Series 5 or later, or Apple Watch SE, running the latest watchOS.

Google Wallet: Android devices running version 9 or higher with NFC enabled, using the latest version of the Google Wallet app.
How can I tell if my device works with a digital key?
If your device is compatible, you will see the “Add to Wallet” option at the end of online check-in.
How do I use my digital key?
Once activated, hold your iPhone, Android phone, or compatible watch near the door lock to unlock it—no need to open the app.
What if I cannot add my key to Google Wallet?
If you experience difficulties, please contact our Front Desk team at +357 22 276070 or email us at enquiries@thesendal.com. We will be happy to assist you and provide a physical key card if needed.
Can I use both the digital key and a physical key card?
Yes, both can be used during your stay.
What if I have multiple bookings?

If you reserve multiple rooms on the same dates, the digital key will only activate for the room assigned to you.

If you stay on different dates, a new key will be issued for each stay and will activate only after completing online check-in.
Where can I use my digital key?
Your Wallet key grants access not only to your room but also to designated hotel areas where a physical key would normally be required, such as the main entrance and guest-only areas.

What is a room key in Apple Wallet?
Your digital room key allows you to unlock your room and designated hotel areas using just your iPhone or Apple Watch—secure, seamless, and private.
How secure is it?
Keys are stored safely on your device. Apple does not track when or where you use your key.
Can I add the key to my Apple Watch?
Yes. When you add the key to your iPhone, it automatically syncs to your paired Apple Watch.
Do I need to unlock my iPhone?
No. With Express Mode, simply hold your device near the lock—no need to wake or unlock it.
What if my iPhone battery runs out?
On iPhone XS, XR, and newer models, Power Reserve allows your key to keep working for up to 5 hours after your phone needs charging.
What happens if I lose my iPhone or Apple Watch?
Use Find My iPhone or iPad or Find My Device to suspend your digital key. Once your device is recovered, your key can be reactivated.
Google Wallet
What happens if I lose my Android phone?
If your device is lost or stolen, use the Find My Device feature to remotely lock or erase it. Your digital room key will be deactivated automatically.
